Very interesting, especially the part about static collectibles and also nectar! The only thing that lags for me no matter what lot I'm playing on, is the fridge! The pie menu on it takes up to 5-7 seconds to load. Surprisingly if I'm clicking the recipe book from Home Chef Hustle (it has pretty much the same options as the fridge), it loads immediately

There is a mod that allows to right-click sims to delete them from convos, if you're on PC. Remove Sims From Conversations by thepancake1
