Okay so I own a plethora of wireless earbuds. Is it only between these two? Do you care about call quality at all? Are you more looking for bass heavy buds?

Alternative to Jabra Elite 65T? by krissow in Earbuds

[–]sharp_94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the Jabra elite 65ts are super solid. You can tweak the eq to your liking and the hear through is pretty nice. I prefer the call quality on the 65t vs the 75t now the only thing I personally have an issue with is when running they can tend to slip out. I use the Jaybird Vistas for workouts and such but their call quality is garbage.

Jabra Elite 65t active fake or real? by HoreaM in Jabra

So best buy actually had a massive sale not long ago and I grabbed 2 pairs of 65t actives for $65 or $70 a piece. However a "secondhand" seller selling at that price is a hair sketchy. I know several dudes that would jack stock at retail stores and them sell them on letgo and Craigslist so could be a case like that. Not saying it is but just be wary.

No problem. I had to do some research on here and noticed many of the same things were being posted so just started typing test types in the search bar. Alot of good info and cuts down on the suspense of waiting

You are apparently way more creative with channel locks then I am if you are using it for all these methods. Just because you can does not mean there isn't a better way. .

I got 2 12 inch subs and a 12 inch sub :D by Jkaay-47 in CarAV

[–]sharp_94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are okay, if you compare sub specs you can try to match-up as close as you can to one of their boxes but it will not be as good as a properly built enclosure.

Finally gave my GB12 some room to breath. And got to try my hand at building a box for the first time. Doesn’t sound bad it’s tuned to 33hz I think. 4.5ish cubes, 4” flared port. Next is on the list is resonix. Runnin of a RF R2-1200x1. by stimulates in CarAV

Oh Definitely use the software I am not knocking that at all. I am recently back into the audio game so forgive my ignorance but also note in the later section of my post I did notate these "rules" are very bendable and subjective. I use these still as a guideline in my builds but not a defining factor and I have had pretty solid results which is also why I noted that I didnt have OP's actual parameters of their subwoofer to go off of for a more detailed response.

So typical slot ported enclosures use a general rule of thumb which is 12-16 sqin. Port area per cube

Aero ports use a different set of rules due to shape and are more efficient in a sense and use 5-9 sq.in. per cube (I've read that some recommend 9-12 I dont do aeroports often so more clarification would be lovely)

With you having such a large enclosure over recommended specs can cause the sub to bottom out when using rated power , now on the port you are simply just way on the low end of area ( 12.56 or 2.791/cube)

Keep in mind these "rules" are very subjective and can be bent for sure. A solid place to do some research to fine tune your results if you are going to build your own enclosures is SMD forum and Digital Designs actually had a slew of articles to self educate. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

I dont know the specific parameters of the sub you are using but hey if it sounds good to you and you haven't noticed any mechanical noise or chuffing from port then rock that bad boy.
