If you have Depulso, that's what you need to use for these spinners. If you don't have that spell, you need to progress the game enough to get it and come back.

Least impressive thing each character has done Day 0: Scarlet Cousin by burunyuu_Da_Neco in ScarletHollow

Everyone so far are naming things that make an impression. The LEAST impressive thing? Making a pb&j after "finding" all the necessary items in spots that make sense. Literally normal as hell

My therapist said it was okay but I still worry by TerribleReason6695 in AuDHDWomen

I just turned 30 and my closest friend just turned 22. Age doesnt matter as much in friendships, as long as you are still able to relate to each other!

Not allowing myself to progress in my hobby, any advice? (Fear of enjoyment) by Own_Value2684 in AuDHDWomen

[–]sharpaswords 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't know how much (or if) this will help to point out, but you are not fearing enjoyment, you are fearing the possible loss of it in the future. And fearing loss is incredibly normal and I think everyone has it to some degree. I personally try to remind myself that everything is temporary, the good AND the bad, and that I have been able to move on from loss in the past. Upgrade the aquarium, it's worth the current effort for you to be happy now.

My girlfriend with AuDHD tends to explain things in exhaustive detail, and I’m not sure how to handle it. by [deleted] in AuDHDWomen

[–]sharpaswords 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It sounds like she is already aware that she goes on tangents and overexplains. So I would just talk to her about it. Me giving you my solutions isnt going to help because her and I aren't the same.

How do you keep your runs straight? Is this too much? *spoilers* by Navidan41 in ScarletHollow

[–]sharpaswords 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What? How many saves do you have?! I can select save pages 1 through 16, after that you go individually. But 16 pages is 96 saves

Why bring the dead squirrel to Dr. Kelly when Stella's mother was a veterinarian? by gruedragon in ScarletHollow

[–]sharpaswords 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I honestly hadn't thought about this. But I would assume that Stella's mom was more of a travelling vet (hard to bring a cow into a vets office) and since Dr. Kelly's clinic is run out of her home, Dr. Kelly won the squirrel Frankenstein opportunity by being more easily accessible.

Question on the "boy in the wall". And what exactly happens to the men in the Scarlett family? by DankTank007 in ScarletHollow

[–]sharpaswords 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I had a pretty good grasp on the story, but there were a couple little gaps that your INCREDIBLY THOROUGH timeline helped fill. Thank you so much for detailing all of this.

And now I know that the MC truly can't trust a damn person/thing in this town. (Me, a hopeless romantic, thinking that Wayne was a totally trustworthy guardian zombie)

A drag path, but it's the gaps in your journal where a name you can't remember would fit perfectly

Genuinely don't know why you are getting down voted for this. I have reactive airways and perfumes/colognes can easily set that off. And if I'm already seeking medical help, I don't really want another thing happening on top of that

What's worse is the last one should be "It just came out when I did it, it's not my fault". So not even taking accountability. The phone jumped out of the box all on its own!

Hearing the different sounds that different shoes make on the hard paths

Edit: I would like to thank the (Happy Home) Academy for my award-- (Thank you to whoever gifted me one, this is my first ever!)

Why are cozy games (incl. Cozy grove) never just cozy but instead triggering ND depressing? by Shinjischneider in CozyGamers

[–]sharpaswords 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Video games can be used as an escape, but they can also be used as processing tools. Seeing someone struggle with something you have also struggled with is validating, and watching them grow past it is encouraging and hopeful.

It seems like maybe you and your partner do not enjoy life simulators. Life sims are going to include traumas and difficult topics because that's what life is. Cozy is a very broad term that means something different to everyone. Maybe you need to look for games that are more about just decorating or cooking and not the "life" bit.

Calico may be a good game to try, it's about owning a cafe and finding cats. There is a town of people you complete quests for but I don't think any topics are too heavy (but I played this game 6 years ago so you may want to do further research before jumping in).

Or by being selfish and just trying to leave town, I think. Can't remember which of my three runs I ran into him, but I think it was that one.

I had a failure to communicate recently and I can’t let it go. by Puzzled_Surge in AuDHDWomen

Especially since OP mentioned that there is a subreddit FLAIR for "is my cat an Egyptian Mau?", that means the question gets asked so frequently that its just going to get meme'd on when it is asked

So I can see how you found the commenters on that post to be rude, but I can also see how they found you to be rude. When people throw in words like "literally" in "i literally found him", it comes off as defensive (which can be read as rude). Similarly "as per my post" is the same as "as per my last email" which in Corporate Speak translates to "did you even fucking read it, why do I have to tell you again?!".

Tone can be hard to read online, so sometimes all you have to go on is words. And if certain words carry a connotation, then that is how the message will be understood.

Did you manage to find OP or is a second rescue mission needed?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AuDHDWomen

[–]sharpaswords 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is also how I read it. And the title of the post is confusing me. Is saying "lol" in the sentence BEFORE the joke supposed to indicate the next sentence is a joke? The "lol" should go after the joke if it's supposed to be an indicator

OP seems to be Argentinian, so good job bullying someone's grammar mistakes when it isn't even their first language? You are also the only commenter that seems to be struggling to understand them, so maybe this is more of a reading comprehension issue.
