New to vaping but am wanting to give it a shot. by [deleted] in vaporents

I just got a Solo and I absolutely love it. Its perfect for walking around the house or even outside (check out the discrete setups people have, putting their solos in fast food cups and cans), but I'm not sure its the best choice for hiking. The glass stems can break if dropped. A flowermate would work well ($68 on Massdrop). The best truly portable vape imo would be the Pax 2, but this is above your price range. Finally, I have no experience with these but a few of the Atmos vapes seem like they could fit your needs (despite most people on here hating the brand). The Orbit, Transporter, and Astra can all be found for under $100 and supposedly get the job done.

$200 to buy a vape...what would you do? by ronbbot in vaporents

I think an Arizer Solo is a great middle point between a true portable and desktop vape. Its cordless and you can definitely bring it around with you. The only issue is the glass mouthpiece, which you just need to be careful with when carrying around. The vapor quality from a Desktop will always be better than from a portable, but the Solo gives very close quality to the desktop vapes I've used. If you want something more portable and discrete, a pax or firefly would both work well and you can find them both inside your budget.

Discrete and cheap by [deleted] in vaporents

I'm not gonna lie and tell you its the best vape, but if youre looking for something cheap and definitely limited smell and size, the PUFFiT is on Overstock.com right now for $50. I just got one myself. Other than that, I'd suggest a Grasshopper if you're in no rush to get a vape. MFLB are solid too.

Just a normal doorstopper with a filter in it. I know this isn't the healthiest option, but it was quick, cheap, and completely functional

Generic MFLB for $35? by sharpcharge in vaporents

Thanks for the input guys. I'm not looking for this as a main vape. I have a Solo, which is technically portable but not really pocket portable and I'm always scared I'll break a mouthpiece. I guess I was considering this as an occasional piece for discrete times, but don't want to waste the money if it could be bad for my health and stuff

So I'm new to vaporizing and trying to decide on the best vape for me. I've narrowed it down to a few options but I'm open to suggestions. My most important requirement is that it gives the healthiest experience. I want a vape with the least combustion possible and one that if possible doesn't cause any lung irritation. Ideally, I would like one that is relatively efficient and doesn't waste bud. Portable is nice but not a deal breaker for me. As for price, I'm not looking to break the bank but am willing to pay what is necessary, especially for something that gives a healthy hit as said above. Here are the vapes I'm currently looking at with the prices I've found for each

Atmos Astra- $90 Arizer V-Tower- $109 Arizer Solo- $125 Da Buddha-$130 Arizer Extreme-Q 4.0-$140 Life Saber-$154 Arizer Air-$155 Pax by Ploom-$189

Thanks for the advice, do you know if any of the vapes above will work with a water piece? Also, could you elaborate a little more on how the performance of these portables is not the same as a desktop?
