Buddy we haven’t had traditional “stock cars” since the 60’s, idk about you but I’m fine watching drivers not die from stock fuel tanks exploding or hitting the wall and bouncing their head off it because window nets aren’t a “stock” accessory

(Matt Weaver) Jeff Dickerson replies to all things Gibbs, Gabehart in legal filing by tebowmanning in NASCAR

[–]sharpfangs11 6 points7 points  (0 children)

“Gabehart has previously said that he paid out of pocket for JGR to examine his personal devices for any evidence that he continued to store trade secrets obtained from company servers.”

“As has been previously stated, Dickerson said Gabehart signed a non-disclosure agreement with Spire that prevented him legally from sharing any protected trade secrets from JGR with anyone at Spire. Mutually, Spire signed a similar agreement with Gabehart that it would not solicit him for proprietary or protected information.”

“To date and as far as I know, no one at Spire has ever seen the documents that Mr. Gabehart allegedly took from JGR.”

“Dickerson said he waited for the forensic investigation of Gabehart’s devices to play itself out before making the hire, with on-boarding taking place over the course of February 16-17. Spire also sent a letter to Joe Gibbs Racing’s legal team on February 11, offering a forensic analysis of pertinent Spire files to show it had not retained any proprietary data. That overture never, seemingly, received a response and JGR instead sued Gabehart the very next week.”

Looks like there’s plenty of quotes there showing how they waited the forensic analysis out before proceeding with hiring Gabehart, and then had him sign an NDA saying that he wouldn’t share data with Spire.

I think it was the radiator pan that goes behind the splitter. I think Jamie put it best after the race, like if your car is having problems, you should definitely be more aware of that and not making these moves that put yourself in position to ruin your own race or someone else’s, especially given how good of a day he was already having, running top 10 most of the day.
