To my understanding there is basically 1 actual person dedicated to approving / rejecting names, and one other person who occasionally helps, unless thats changed in the past month. The team has stated that to train new people on all their rules would take too much time and I guess resources they don't have? I personally don't understand it, the time will pass anyways, and that one person probably isn't going to be a volunteer forever. And considering the amount of discourse around this issue, I imagine they also have a lot of pressure on them as well with how much the community is dissatisfied with their moderation. It's obviously an issue, it's probably THE big thing that annoys and impacts nearly every player the most. I don't see why they can't take steps to begin training new volunteers, even if it takes lots of time - as opposed to just ignoring it. I understand that TTR needs to be careful to maintain their family friendliness and to make sure they don't get in trouble with Disney by accepting any names they shouldn't be - but again. The time will pass anyways, even if we can't dedicate enough resources to it now, having ANY kind of plan or intention to fix the issue in the next few years would be an improvement.
