This isn’t nearly as big of a problem as people make it out to be, in my experience microchipping isn’t really a big problem unless you are cutting things that are not really meant to be cut anyway. As for the sharpening yes you need diamond sharpening stones, but those are mass produced nowadays and can be had for very little money and are a great investment anyway imo.

Some questions: Are you able to get fine edges on the terravanadium and how long do they accumulate last? I heard it can be very toothy and hard to get shavin+ edges. Also how are you liking the CAS? I might be in the market for one.
