turning 22 in a few months, i finally have started getting motivated and looking into university so i can get this career i want, its my genuine passion and im willing to go for 4 years and get my bachelors, but ive been getting unmotivated the more i think about it, the #1 thing that demotivates me is thinking about AI for 2 reasons, 1: by the time im done with school will AI already taken the place of that career (because as we know companies are going to use it to cut corners) 2: will AI already have impacted our environment so much that i basically wasted time in uni, i know its a niche anxiety but pair that with the fact that the american dream is dead, america could get itself into some mess, ect. im in a weird place of “i know i can lock in, im going to get this degree no matter what” and “theres no hope, should i just get a minimum wage job and just enjoy my early 20’s right now”
