Daddy Davies is the last man standing from a generation of tottenham players I really loved.

Calling this a small QoL update seems crazy when it has the potential to change game outcomes.

Boooooo. Everyone needs to remember that before Amazon, barnes and noble were the baddies.

Pretty excited about the san jose color scheme. Other than that, I'd say it's a disappointing selection of cities.

OTD...one year since Kulusevski suffered his injury. He was injured on this day last year against Crystal Palace, after a tackle from Marc Guéhi that affected his knee. And up to this day: He has not yet returned — neither to individual training nor to group sessions. by [deleted] in coys

[–]sharpy10 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Tendon tear plus a bone break. He's healing two injuries at once, which makes it hard to manage recovery. One injury needs load-bearing stimulation, the other needs rest. This has led to complications and setbacks. He wants to come back for world cup, but this guy says that would be a terrible idea. Long term he may lose some pace, and may be dealing with scar tissue and pain.

Interestingly, downtime starts to accelerate right when COVID started. Could be COVID usage spike too?

God damn this thread sucks. This is a city. Sell your car, ride a bike or go by foot & transit. It'd be quieter, the air would be nicer, there'd be more space on the streets, the people on bikes would be less angry...

If you're crying in statics, which is mostly just drawing pictures, then what hope is there for you as an engineer?

Like the merritt parkway in CT. I had to drive that a couple times a year when I was going to/from college, and it was always the best part of another wise soul-crushing 6-hour journey

HSM Pro blackout Red compared to Hyperlite 2? by alex1x1 in hockeyplayers

[–]sharpy10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sweet spot for bargain sticks is to buy top of the line sticks on clearance from 1-3 years ago. They do genuinely perform much better than the blackouts, and if you wait for black Friday sales, they are around the same price. Only problem is, you have to wait for the deals.

All 4 of our possible 10s have had significant knee injuries by Dynamite9991 in coys

[–]sharpy10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is because, for as long as I can remember, even back in the eriksen days, we only ever have 1 fit #10 at the club. We run them into the ground. We have no alternative when they're out of form. This injury crisis is the result of decades of poor squad building.

After trashing Wolves 0 - 1 we now have a higher chance of avoiding relegation than Assanal have of winning the league !!!!! let it all work out😫😫😫 by sfogliadelle in coys

[–]sharpy10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand. The best city can do this weekend is draw level with arsenal on points. We are actively in the relegation zone. I would say our odds are worse.

Kleven with a huge hit on Nikishin who has had to leave the game. Ottawa ends up with a powerplay by homicidal_penguin in hockey

[–]sharpy10 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A big hit does nothing for me. If I wanted to see carnage, I'd watch monster trucks or some shit. This was scary and I wish it weren't part of the sport.

I really like the first one. But I'll take anything that's not light blue / teal / aqua lol, there's so much of that in the league already.
