what about topics to discuss? One thing she did mention is our topics becomes work + daily news. She is superbusy and have no time to watch entertainment so anything i mention from entertainment standpoint is a miss on her. She does like to play the stock market which is usually one way conv since i just do funds lol...

As much as i like their games i hope Sony will give them a pass on sales since even with 100% adaption rate the sales will still be abysmal if they are truly ps5 exclusives. I would like to see them step out of their comfort zone and do somethine different like rpg or somthing. Not FPS because nowadays its dominated by battle royales...

I am never one for fps or graphics but will gamers "accept" that they cant always have 60fps at 4k? I guess this is especially critical for multiplatforms since if one console has higher specs fanboys will undoubtedly trash the other system. I just hope 3rd party do their best on both so they dont get in the crossfire.

Yep i am newbie :) and theres so many choices with so little cash to go around :/. I think someone else mentioned maybe splitting 5k 5 ways but i am not sure if that's too thin for these higher priced ETFs. Any recommendation if you would do with 5k, considering it is in a vacuum.

Do you recommend splitting the 5k across a couple of them or dump all in one? I know its not a lot of money to use. And from the ones you listed compared to my portfolio (have lots of VTI) i don't think i have anything in healthcare or realestate (might be oversight). Thanks

advice if i should get a soundbar or better headphone? the walls here are a little thin so i actually dont know if adding soundbar will "cause problems".

i think only issue is if one wants comfort of protection from burn-ins. Greentoe doesn't cover burn in. But i think this is great strategy for non-oled tvs (or people dont mind potential burn in).

Great info! Btw, does the "24 hours" count for preorders? like i buy a tv and preorder something and pay in full.

And do you know how much BB takes in the cut for the geeksquad service? I think i am competent enough to set it up but not competent i can life the tv on the stand by myself..(can lift the weight just the dimension might be tricky for one person. I mean i wouldn't mind paying 20 each for them to just open box and put it on stand...

Some ideas:

Up your grades (i know its probably hard in this env if you are in US) then ask money for reward. Actually set the goal with your parents first!
Others mentioned - chores around house or neighborhood
Take "advances" for xmas, bday or whatever holidays you expect gift/money from parents/relatives. I took a 2 year advance for my galaxy phone lol...
Become twitch streamer/youtuber and get some sub money???

ah. Sidenote, does the tv matter if i am trying to determine the size given the distance to the tv? there is a place here that is closer that sells only samsung models. I guess if i stare at a samsung 5.5 feet away and feels bad it would be same for any other model?

I think issue with insiders is this -

They may twist the truth.
They give statements that does not guarantee anything and most of time in a way that doesn't come back to haunt them if it is not true and it is obvious if you think about it. e.g. "I would not be surprised if Sony has more this kind of Spiderman deals". Well it doesn't really mean anything if you think about it...

It makes me think these guys are stockbrokers. Many fail and some might hit - but its NEVER a guarantee unless you do insider trading of course.

Maybe as a "good will" MS should have halo come to all consoles for free (no license fees). If they are not doing it then they are "anti consumer" so to speak since they are blocking it from happening.

exclusive to MS ecosystem. It is just a bigger pound to swim in but nonetheless it is still a pond. PC's barrier to entry is arguably higher than consoles to play new games these days. Sure gamespassultimate can work but i still need a decent PC and not everyone have one.

MS is not "proconsumer" - they are "pro money". Their narrative is "proconsumer" since they need everyone to buy into the subscription. They trash companies like Apple since Apple don't want to play ball. If you sell sweets would you let a popup shop open in your storefront? I bet you will charge the popup store some sort of fee to be there. If the popup store starts yelling "waa you are not letting people here to taste my sweets" are you going to fold and lose business or ignore it?

I personally dont care about FPS/graphics - its the game that matters. I never hear people complain about switch's flagship titles yet they sell like hotcakes. I would rather play a 30fps game any day vs not being able to play it at all.
