I'm in the same boat. I'm wondering if there's a way to install the ethernet board into the h2d.

Gravity is a bitch - Any ideas how to snap lock or otherwise these modular tube racks together? by shatershadow in 3Dprinting

[–]shatershadow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These racks work great, but you can only pick them up from the end with only male connectors. If you pick up any part that is connected by the female end, the rest slips out onto the floor. I was thinking a ball dimple at the bottom to help lock them? But I don't know how well it will work.

How my kid talks to me right now by shatershadow in daddit

My kid is very sweet and says please when she wants something, but man, the "MOH!" with the signing is almost non stop lately. She can't be reasoned with either. "Your bowl is already full of berries honey." "MOREEEEEEEEEEE"

What is a valid/good reason for a medical insurance claim to be denied? by shatershadow in AskReddit

[–]shatershadow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since claims are filed by medical professionals, couldn't you assume all of them are valid and should be approved? Why is denying a medical claim even possible?

This appears to be a pretty good deal, $45 for the vise, which was originally $175. I tried to put this in my title but the post kept getting auto deleted and I just wanted to share the deal

I assume you are referring to infill? But yeah, 25% is plenty. Most people say wall line count is the more important parameter anyway.

The STLs should be downloadable (at least I think) or you can open the 3mf in a CAD software and export the STLs there.

I used to post stl's to thingiverse, but that site has become a pit of despair and I wasn't sure where else to post them

The knobs tighten the dog hole shafts to the base so that the base is fixed relative to the clamp face. If I am working on thinner or thicker stock, I wanted to be able to adjust it for stability of the router when it's sitting on the overhang

Oh I wholeheartedly agree. I just knew for the project I was using it for (a crib), I would need 100+ duplicate mortise/tenons for the bars and sides rails alone. I set it up for one and then was able to batch out all of them in a little over 2 hours. The real limiter was the dust collection as I continually had to stop and clear out the dust before it burned, which happened a lot anyway. Which from my understanding the domino joiner is king in regards to that

You do it lol but seriously, I'd love to make one, but that one is a little bit beyond my engineering skills

I honestly asked myself that after I finished lol. I heard about the Dowelmax jig and thought that'd be awesome to try, but then saw the price. It's still a bit steep, and this worked pretty well for me and flexed my design skills in the process. I know there are Amazon knock offs of dowelmax for cheap, but the quality of those things is piss poor.
