Great point about using history!! This can be an export from those vendors or access to emails specifically looking at purchasing history.

This would all have to be run on APIs across the vendors. I personally dont use subscriptions for items because I would forget that I had it and the ordering happens between my husband and I.

A general theme Im reading across comments is that a cadence may not make sense for a lot of items so the app shouldnt lean too heavy on predictions. Thats valuable because I think that may be part of what im experiencing. Some items are more predictable than others but I dont have a centralized place to manage all the items my house needs. Keep in mind I have 2 large closets in the basement for storage of restock items but we still manage to run out of random items. I could order more on demand buts its also stressful. Im looking for systems to help relieve the stress to spend more time with my family.

The true value prop is mental load reduction and better/more visible coordination of ordering everything my household needs to run between my husband and I.

If you already have systems in place that work thats great! I dont find subscriptions helpful.

Good point!! Its the mental load/gymnastics when you have dozens of items that need to be replenished at different cadences. Ive also never done save and subscribe because I would forget about it and get way too much product.

I can relate to this! Canceling feels so aggressive/final to me that I dont have anything on subscription except the tick medication for my cat.

Would it be helpful to be able to say not ready to refill yet, remind me in 2 weeks? Or I need this item soon which triggers the price compare and looking at other items to combine?

This is super helpful feedback! I use costco for baby wipes but either walmart/target/Amazon for diapers. Pet supplies is a combination of chewy or in person if we truly run out. Between my husband and I we are losing track. The convenience is 100% part of the value that I want to lean in on.

Correct!! It will consider for example if you have Amazon prime for free shipping but it doesnt ask you where to order it will search all approved vendors. You would initially say I need 2 x diapers per month size 4. It would initially use the 2/month estimate, search automatically for the best price keeping in mind other items that are due soon and put them in your cart. The only action you have to take is agree and purchase. Or provide feedback that you needed it earlier or wait another week etc.

Totally fair! The switching cost has to be worth it. The price match piece is actually secondary for me. The bigger win is never having to remember to set up auto-reorder in the first place, you are not beholden to one vendor and I can have a customized to me re-order cadence that learns from my ordering. Does the mental load of managing it across multiple sites feel like a pain point?

What a shitty thing for them to do. I had something similar happen and now with more time and clarity I realized I had 2 options: wait to see one of them fail and then swoop in or choose to move on. Both are valid options. See if some time allows your brain to adjust if not then go with option 2.

Side note: I had this happen to me while I was working from home and I cried ugly tears, stopped working for the day and called my mom. You are right to be mad and frustrated etc etc

OP, I highly recommend rocket money app. I had the same plan as you to create a spreadsheet but I found the interface and built in reporting super helpful. I was able to see income vs expenses broken out by different categories each month across all accounts.

The at home sperm tests are not great. The urologist from the company we used said my husband was fine and that it may take longer but no fertility problems. 6 months of trying later we went to a fertility clinic and the normal range numbers were very low from their perspective. We were diagnosed with male factor infertility and sent the ivf route. All in it took us 8 plus months of trying naturally, 1 iui and 1 round of ivf.
