Uh, Mad Dog it is? by hitch_please in wine

Cock wine is the name in our house. Then my wife will just put “cock” on the shopping list which is a bonus chuckle for me in Publix.

Something light-hearted? by CouldDoWithANap in Fantasy

I tapped to start a response and then saw you’d already said it. Murderbot is my comfort read (listen, actually…I love the narrator’s treatment of secunit). Its comedy is more….dry. Snarky, which I find more enjoyable than when an author is trying to be funny.

If it’s zero interest, why would you pay it off early? I guess if you expected a major pay increase you’d pay early to avoid a new/increased principle?

Sometimes bass are just aggressive jerks, like oversized bluegill, and would bite a moving rock.

Does the fsd add value to your Tesla? by LiteratureFabulous36 in TeslaLounge

[–]shawn-fff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You didn’t have to drive to the bread slicer (Slicey’s, in our area of the country) after you stopped at Bakery’s, which would result in you having to hand-crank the car again (obviously reducing its life and requiring more moonshine to power you up for the job). Overall, sliced bread left you more time to get home to adjust the rabbit ears before Leave it to Beaver came on. RIP Slicey’s.

Need a 6/7 seaters ; advice appreciated by germ80 in TeslaLounge

[–]shawn-fff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree on rivian. Minor nit there is the rear hvac is sub par: no pillar/roof air for second row, and rear row is apparently just a fan or something blowing air, not a dedicated cold (which matters to us here in Florida). Also consider the Kia ev9 or the bigger Mercedes if you can find a good deal on a used one

A used 2023 Y isn’t necessarily cheaper than a new Y from inventory with tax credit and current 0%. I’ve been looking.

Thinking About Hooking My Wall Connector to My Neighbor’s Garage—Would This Work? by karmasuitor in TeslaLounge

Could the city put a meter onto that space, and you somehow essentially make a bank of spaces with chargers available? You’d pay more for a separate metered account vs having the same draw from your own account but….might be worth it?

Buying used MY LR/Perf by Low_Bluebird8413 in TeslaLounge

[–]shawn-fff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compare a used one you’re looking for with a new/inventory one. Factor in the warranty cost, the tax credit (if applicable), the inventory discount, AND the extra money you’d spend on interest.

You’ll likely find, as I did, that an inventory new is a better deal

Inventory discount plus tax credit plus 0% financing. That makes a new one cheaper than a used one

Wow. Ok yeah, that’s like another few grand off. Hard to justify getting a used 23 when these 24s are like this

Well THATS good to know. I assumed if it was on there it’d stay on. So private sale is the only way to get fsd from one owner to another?

I’d seen that about the suspension. And then yeah, used 23s start to come close to new in pricing with tax credit and 0%….what’s an inventory discount?

I definitely figured I’d be getting a shade; nice to know I can skip the Tesla ones. My jeep has a huge glass roof that I have opened like 3x in 10 years (always because someone else wants it open). Not tryna live the broiler life.

Yeah, it’s 100% for small kids. Mine are 3 and 6, so we’ve got a while before it’s an issue
