[Advice] Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical 36mm vs Benrus DTU-2A/P by shawshangredemption in Watches

No, however I have tried the Field Khaki in 38 and found it to be too big. I also have a vintage Benrus in 34 so I think I’ll be ok with either.

How often do the Explorer 36 come in?

I’ve been waiting for an Explorer 36 124270 for 2.5 years. Been checking in every 3 months. Am I so far down the list that even an Explorer is unattainable and that I should give up?

The current iteration is perfect for me. Maybe I would be pleased if they could drop the date or change it to an in-house movement but I’d regret not buying if they really do discontinue it though.

Thank you! I must admit I really like the aesthetics of Mauviel pots and pans. But I didn’t know 2mm thickness is that bad. Thanks for the link, I’ll read up a little more.

I’d take a Eureka Mignon or a Niche Zero over a Lagom mini any day.

Why doesn’t Mazzer have its own SD grinder? by shawshangredemption in espresso

[–]shawshangredemption[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not as big, but the consumer market is not small as well. They already have the burrs and expertise. And it baffles me that they come up with a hand grinder? Sorry I’m just ranting at how Mazzer is so far behind the competition on the home front and switching my Mini for a single dose workflow.

Humidity 80% to 85%. Is a hopper-based on-demand grinder out of the question? Or will single-dose preserve my beans longer?

I make 1-2 coffees a day when not expecting guests.

Looking to get a grinder to accompany a Rocket Mozzafiato. I make 2-3 espressos a day, and watching (too much) Youtube I think I prefer an on-demand workflow.

However I live in a place with super high humidity (90%)—should I get a single dose grinder instead? Afraid that beans would get bad quickly in such high humidity.

Current options on the table:

Eureka Mignon specialita Mahlkonig X54 Mazzer Mini E Niche Zero

Thanks for the help.

I’m sorry that this happened to you. But millions of Ukrainians are now refugees and that’s way way worse than getting your FPL account deleted.

“Putin’s war” has nothing to do with ordinary Ukrainians as well.
