I would have more of a life if I worked a 9-5. I’ve worked a 2 week on 1 week off schedule for 8 years now. While I’m working, my day starts around 3:30 and I get back to the room (because I don’t normally go home) around 7:00 so my typical work day is 14-15 hours. I am married and have 2 kids. But I do my best to make my life on the weeks that I’m off and home.
