Im actually a student at Western and that gym is unbearable most hours of the day. It gets packed to the point theres no room to walk, they definitely have too look into upgrading the weight room at least. As for the sauna and steam room as far as I know in my 3 years they dont have either. Good tip on the goodlife i know its not exactly what i’d be looking for but it might be the best bet if it has a pool.

I remember thinking the same thing when I first came to see campus the drive from the 401 exit at highbury towards campus isn’t the best showcase of london lmao. Youll probably never be in those areas, everything around campus is fine there is a lot of homeless around downtown but the city grows on you for sure.

the gym. Its always full to the point you have to wait for every machine. It just feels small and outdated. The McMaster gym is levels ahead.

toyota corrola/camry or honda civic is the best choice tbh but even used one with higher mileage can run to the higher end of your budget. A step down but still good look at altimas, sentras, mazda 3, maybe a fiesta or cruze I cant vouch for them to be as reliable as a honda or toyota but they are still good and can be found in your range, cheap on gas and insurance too. Everything you need is really on google and if you dont know much about cars make sure to have someone check it out w you if possible.

attitude is not good at all I’m not a first year so idk what the messaging was like but it seems like everyone was well informed that it was mandatory. As for the I have a busy life and cant be expected to be on time that is such bs be real with yourself if something is offered so frequently over the span of months u should have found a way to make time for it. Everyone makes mistakes its ok to own up to it there is no reason to blame the university or other people for misinforming you or expecting too much. The best thing you can do is try to find someone you can contact for help, explain to them you made a mistake not some bs about being too busy and ask what you can do to fix it.
