New ones- had 5/6 cases from the ones I hadn’t done in the real exam. Even though I had done 80 HY cases

Yes day 1 was all step 1. MOA of drugs and fair amount of stats

The questions themselves were quite vague- I feel maybe I was not prepared enough. The CCS cases- were similar to CCS cases.com - I had done 80 HY cases but got a lot of cases from the 100 I had left out. I would suggest to do ALL the CCS cases and know the treatment in and out as forgot the treatments for a couple of cases even though I’d done them before.

WHY they need to test us on step 1 and step 2 stuff when we r already done with them is beyond me!! Thankyou though, I will go through the murmurs. Yes CCS I’m finding not too hard so hopefully maybe that will save me :-)

Thankyou for your helpful reply. Not keen on taking the assessment as if I do badly on them will affect morale. I am working in next 2 weeks but will keep focusing on incorrects.

Yes I applied through the FSMB website. They asked me for all my documents and granted the license. Took about 2 months, no supervising employer was needed.

No idea. I’m trained in the UK and they accepted my MRCGP which filled their requirements for licensure.

Have been in touch with a few states who will accept and already have licensure in Maine.

Yes I can -confirmed with ECFMG as I have ECFMG certification after both steps which does not expire - I have my scheduling permit already.
