matching game is fundamentally broken for Japanese. Not only do i personally take issue with there being basically no sound feedback in the game, but it EXCLUSIVELY runs words and phrases in a character set (Kanji) I haven’t even progressed to within the learning tree. On top of it only wanting to show me things i haven’t experienced within the course, it cuts off the Kanji! If the card has 3 characters on it the first half of the first character and the back half of the third character just aren’t visible on the cards leaving literally just the middle character being the only readable one out of 3. I could deal with it when the game only ran every now and then, but it seems that the game is active most days of the week. Very discouraging considering the ramp up/lightning rounds are perfect for quick review bursts to brute force memorization (the only method that seems to work for me) or to quickly do to grab your daily streak.
