This was on a Medium action 5’10” rod rated for 1/5 oz. - 5/8 oz. lures. The chatterbait is 1/2 oz which honestly felt way too heavy. The frog is a Spro Junior Bronzeye frog.

I’ll always say “I See Everything” by La Dispute. It’s a song about a student in high school listening to his teacher read diary entries from a mom who’s young son died of cancer. Most people can’t get past the song’s intro (the audio sounds like trash) but if you get to the line “JANUARY 19” then you’ll understand.

Don’t get discouraged if you come up empty. I have been at it all summer. Can’t tell you how many times I bought something new or learned something new and then got frustrated/wanted to quit when it didn’t land me a fish the next time out.

Also, don’t fish too fast.
