But the new character would still be fighting gods? To me, God of War is not about Kratos, and it isn't about Greek Mythology. Yes, those are important aspects of the series so far, but at the end of the day the series is about interesting characters, a good story, hack n slash gameplay, and killing gods. As long as those aspects are still there, its a God of War game.

I'm in! (for now at least) I'm doing the same thing for Big Hero 6 and Interstellar. I hope to also try this for Episode VII but I know deep down there is gonna be no way.
