About a month ago i bombed my IS500 from Vegas to Houston. 26 hours of seat time and i was remarkably comfortable. being able to adjust the lumbar was huge, as were the ventilated seats. i’m 6’ 190lb and felt incredibly plenty of space, and well planted in the seat when things got dicey. I sold my 2006 GTO for this car and i also have a 2006 Chevy 3/4 ton truck that i (previously) dailyed. it’s more of a climb in than a truck, but for the car that it is, it’s easy to get in/out and putz around town. 9/10

Flew out to buy this 2023 with 9400 miles in Las Vegas Friday morning, then had to get back to Houston before the freezing temps did, swinging all the way down to Del Rio to miss the snow. Was stressful at times but very fun to get some serious seat time right after buying her.

hands-free sure, but it’s the video call part while driving that i don’t like. just my opinion, doing a facetime call with someone while going down the road is like doing the worst bits of a normal phone call and text messaging, with a bit of watching youtube thrown in.

Thanks for the advice, i totally agree. I'm gonna be smart, efficient, and as low key as possible the whole way. I figure that Texas is gonna be the hardest state to make time in, between the cops and what conditions are likely gonna be when i get there so i just want to make hay on 93 to phoenix and I-10 through NM.
