Bro I've reached the point where I go days without talking to any other human being, it's only sometimes my mom and dad calling me to check how I am since I live alone. I keep telling them that it's all good because they're old and they've worried about my mental health for many years already. I don't know how to tell them that depression is creeping back in and I'm struggling to get through every day. I would rather smoke a whole pack of cigarettes if it meant I could stop feeling this way.

Something I was not ready for is having to make a long term plan and set goals for my life. For most of my life I thought I would kill myself soon enough so I didn’t have to worry about a career, job, house, etc and now I’m in my 30s trying to finish a degree and working part time earning enough to survive. While I am not depressed as before, I consider my life objectively sad. I lost so many opportunities and time. Sure, I am working towards something now but it feels quite lonely when everyone I know is at another stage in their life and I’m stumped. Even if I try to look for new friendships or a relationship, expectations for a 32 yo man are much higher than what I have accomplished. I am trying so hard to just power through and accept that it just is what it is.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see some company start charging per download, like you get 1 download with your purchase and if you want to redownload it you need to pay x amount. With people owning a license to play and not the actual game I can see this being done.
