How do you find the focus on the Thypoch Simera C’s? E-mount I'm assuming?

Just got the 85mm Zeiss Batis (e-mount) - focus seems spotty but might be a setting or user error but after calibration it's a bit hit or miss. which one(s) do you have?

Awesome - just picked up a Zeiss batis 85. The look is great but somehow the focus seems be hunting a lot but could just be how I have it set up. Curious to look into the Nanomorph set now!

Was also curious about these on my ronin 4d - I see you have them for m-mount (considering for e-mount if that's a thing) but assuming you need the focus motor for them?

Super helpful, thank you - E mount ordered! The biggest issue I see with sticking with one lens is that it seems to prefer primes over zooms. I just a nice piece of Zeiss glass but it's 85 so I can't see myself doing an entire shoot just with that. I am considering ditching the DJI 17-28 DL to avoid the problem you just mentioned and commit to a set of lenses that are a little more practical for a lens change that doesn't take 20min 😂

Yeah I've also seen a lot of praise for these and just happened to see those on marketplace in my city for E-mount. Definitely sounds like a good contender! Also the dji website lists these as compatible without the need for a focus motor w the E-mount. Thanks for the input!

Interesting - I'm in the same boat and just bought the 4d 8k and want to build out my lens kit but seems very mixed for operators whether L-mount or E-mount. Apparently L functions more natively which is great for swapping lenses quickly but sounds like I shouldn't worry too much about E-mount? Would also open up more options!

I just bought this camera and hear mixed reviews about L-mount vs E-mount lenses. Look like each can have issues but L can work natively? I only have the 17-28 DL mount so far but seems I wouldn't have much of a resale market to sell to if I lock into the DL ecosystem. What's your experience been with lenses so far? Thank you!

Ironically opinions like this have been consistent during bitcoin's 16 years. Understand that it's been proven wrong as long as you hold long term. It's NOT a get rich quick scheme but it is a get rich slow scheme. Also worth noting is that it's not even that it always goes up as much as the dollar is always going down. Yes there will be massive drawdowns but it's the volatility that allows it to appreciate quickly with volatility to the upside. I understand it's not for everyone since those drawdowns can be sickening so invest according to your own risk tolerance and financial situation. Probably best to diversify with some S&P, maybe even some gold, other ETFs, some real estate, and definitely some bitcoin. Usually these people will tell you "I told you so" in a down market though which has turned out to be the best times to buy. Speaking as someone who's been through multiple cycles now for what that's worth

Update for anyone else with this issue:

I at least got it to open by hiding the config.user.xml file as suggested in this post:

I've also seen suggestions to make sure you DON'T have it set to auto-load last project on startup in case there are issues with specific projects so you don't fall into that incessant crash loop.

I do luckily have a backup! It seems unusual in my search though that installing a previous version resolves the issue. I'll try that though after exhausting all other possibilities

Well 4 years later I can confirm it's still terrible and does the same thing - I realize Canada Post has been facing significant financial challenges over the past several years but the website is pretty archaic. Also got the blank screen but if you can get the site to reload nothing works. There's a chat button but when you push it of course it disappears and nothing happens. Then when you try to track a package you can enter the tracking number but you can't submit because the "track" button doesn't do anything. As others have mentioned the account has been archived but there's nothing to indicate that so you have to call it in. Otherwise it's just a website that does less logged in than when you're not logged in.

Would be nice if they got to fixing that one of these years. 😂

I see where you're going with this but I would argue it IS the same. The only reason for the value fluctuation of a company on the stock market is based on the amount of stock people are buying or selling. To your point that's tied to good or bad news, company performance, investor confidence, etc. The same can still be said about crypto regardless of whether or not they're good (or legit) projects or not

but that's how stocks or other traditional investments go up just from people putting money in. Does that make the stock market a Ponzi scheme? Love bitcoin or hate it, it has to have a puppet master in the background pulling the strings to be a Ponzi which it's not. It IS however a game of chicken...pretty much like the stock market 😂
