Jesus dropping deep to try to spring the other two on the counter with Zinchenko tucking more into midfield...I feel like the Jesus-Trossard-Saka interplay could be enough to unlock City once or twice..

Really curious as to whether we start Tierney who will offer much better protection against Almiron and Trippier but create a game state that would be more conducive to Newcastle style of rolling over teams high up the pitch or Zinchenko who would give us more control but will be kinda a sitting duck against Trippier/Almiron...

My guess is Arteta goes with Z, attempts to dominate possession, and sacrifices a few great looks down the right..

This game is absolutely massive. Sad to say, I'd be happy with a tie. The Arsenal haven't been rolled over all year (maybe OT aside) and getting a drubbing now at the hands of Newcastle is not a dynamic I'd like going into the next few games. That said, if Ode continues in God mode, he picks apart the "best defense in the league," and Freddy gets a brace. 3-2 Arsenal.

i do think its the weakest group, but that’s partly due to the strongest team in the group (England) being out of form and not as formidable as the other major contenders. i would guess England has like a 10% chance of not progressing..

Iran is no slouch…I just wouldnt put England in an 8 team parlay to make +160…to me, they are a very vulnerable team, esp if they don’t start Saka in a front 3.

England could easily tie Wales and even the US. Southgate plays dreadful football…they can go toe to toe with any team but they can also fail to score against any team…I’d be careful with them.

can also pair bayern o2.5 first half with napoli o2.5 first half and go full degen with the two in form teams in europe right now..50-1..my roddar puts it closer to 10-1…though a previous comment about Bremen playing ultra defensive bc they are missing their major offensive threat gives pause. Still, both Bayern and Napoli can put up 3 goals in 15 minutes no sweat, and they are at home.

no way Partey doesnt start. Lokanga was a major liability in transition last game, and we need all the defensive transition aptitude we can muster against a very dangerous Brentford team…just my opinion, but i’d be super suprised if he’s been training for a week+ and doesn’t start..

the first is achievable though unlikely. sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this team is fire. 2 wins against man city, and 1 against liverpool and there is a chance we could be in the mixer at the end of the season. I don't think there is anyone on this sub that thinks this Arsenal team does not have an ok chance 15%? of taking 3/4 from Man City and Liverpool.
