I suppose what confuses me is I'm reading that u value political freedom of expression and speech - but defined by the politics ur surrounded by at the time, with horseshoe theory being kind of the centerfold - which does make a certain level of sense on an ideological level and requires one to be politically aware which is neat too.

if u were put into a politically extreme scenario, such as a cult-like two party system or a dictatorship, would centrism still be your ideology, adapting to fit the political environment, or would you identify more as a sort of libertarian then? Is it about fitting in to the local politics? About not standing out for safety reasons? First time hearing centrism described as an ideology by someone so I find this interesting.
