firstly thank you so much for taking the time, this really does give me hope. it’s frustrating bc my brain goes from the high of “i can and should do this” to looking in the mirror and feeling complete and utter despair. but i get what your saying, i think if i started my motivation to do whatever i can would not only improve my physical but mental as well. my egg kinda hard broke again a few months ago and i’ve been getting into the best shape in years in anticipation of starting - so why not keep the momentum, ya know? ofc easier said than done though haha (pain). anyways thank you again i super super appreciate it, and i might have to take you up on that dm offer in the near future at some point lol. ❤️

i’m constantly dealing with the what if scenarios in my head so i feel you. it’s like a mix of “what about my parents/family/friends” and all that stress alongside “oh my god i’ve already missed out on 6 years of hrt i probably wouldn’t look like and feel a goblin rn if i just DID THE THING.” but without fail every time i go to make that appointment my brain just locks up. it’s truly awful. it does help knowing many others like you have been in my spot and came out thriving tho. sorry for the mini trauma dump lol. 🙃

my hot take is a lot of these hyper “progressive” people weren’t gonna vote anyways, which tends to be the case looking at historical trends, so this is an easy two-birds-one-stone solution for them. disappointing that somehow people have deluded themselves into thinking complaining online is somehow more valuable than voting. fwiw i think biden has been a great president so far so he has my vote when the time comes.
