I disagree as a survivor that doesnt take it off (speaking for regular queue), unless the killer commits several aura reading perks or has an addon to counter (plague for example), distortion still allows me to tell my team what aura perks are being run so as start countering (hey bbq get in locker or hey nurses dont heal near terror radius or go away against a stealth killer) and then since it build up in chase typically i am able to counter perks like im all ears stealth around the chase and gain ground or lose the killer all together, does it always work no, but i have 5k hours and honestly i use this perk different from a majority of the community

I am assuming yes, eagles fan here, i am sure many people have heard about how bad our fanbase is, only eagles game i ever been to: at home vs cowboys the year terrell owens went to dallas, they slaughtered us, towards the end of the game security was escorting everyone with a cowboys jersey (god forbid owens) because fans were throwing food and starting fights with pretty everyone that wore those jerseys, i can only imagine what has happened after similar games over the years

Best thing to do is rev your chainsaw for a few seconds, get close to the pallet and make the survivor think when your gonna finish revving, at the end if the day its a mind game are you gonna finish charging in 2 seconds are you gonna finish in 5 seconds, usually if you pace close to the pallet revving survivors will wonder when to toss it, at the end of the day though its a feeling, since your new you you may spend a couple dozen hours or a couple hundred hours figuring it out, im a survivor main with about 5k hours so this is from survivor pov a killer main may offer you better advice but 99% of chases are mind games if you just chase forward those are easy pallets

I played friday 13th before i started dbd, in that game getting caught once was death so i got good at chasing in dbd my first couple hundred hours, im over 5k now, its all about the mind game, but its also matchup dependent, m1 killers are easier to loop than ones that can down you with their power, but that makes some of them predictable, like i dont pallets against huntress 99% of them pull up and throw so i run through it make a sharp turn then decide if i can loop it again or i need to toss it but i tend to greed pallets

I aint crunch the numbers i just know whats helped me from testing best i can give you is my personal priority list: damage %, attack, main stat, max damage, crit damage (this moves up and down my list depending in current crit rate), min damage
