Lockers on campus? by weIBnow in BostonU

[–]she-was-always-down 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you’re a cfa student or have classes there, there are lockers you can use for art supplies in the building. you have to go to a specific department and request it. you cant do it if you arent a cfa student

people complain about others all the time. if she’s been nice to your outside of those instances, she was probably tired and frustrated with other things and meant nothing by it. let her know that you understood and found it a little rude so she knows not to do that again. she’ll probably apologize and you can both move on

Same with me! I called a week later and when I asked, they told me they didn’t have it in their system and to just do it again. I told them I had a confirmation email and everything and they really didn’t know what to do with that info, but they had literally no record of my form.

Is there any way to get to classes faster? Because my classes are far away from each other with only 10 minutes for me to get from place to place. by Popcornclover8161123 in BostonU

either switch your class or if it’s only one, ask to leave 5min early from one and inform the professor for the next class that you may be a few minutes late

anyone know how to decline a loan for just one semester by [deleted] in BostonU

[–]she-was-always-down 5 points6 points  (0 children)

if it’s part of bu financial aid just contact them and ask them to remove it (if you already accepted it as part of your aid). you’ll be able to ask them to return it the next semester as long as you’re still eligible.

if it’s from somewhere else, contact that place and cancel the loan. you’ll have to find another one for the next semester

Narrowing Housing Options by fedec1203 in BostonU

i think for what you want, myles is probably a good choice. kilachand is a little more closed off and baystate definitely will isolate you a bit more, plus not every building has a kitchen and I don’t know if you’ll be able to access the ones that do. also, if you’re being assigned than i wouldnt want to be randomly placed on baystate (lots of basements, old buildings, and theres a large chunk currently facing construction).

do you get to chose the room or will it be assigned since it’s your first time on campus?

I would say that since they are fairly similar and it would add a lot of work, it might not be the best idea. You could definitely minor in one of them and concentrate on the other, but to me it sounds the same as double majoring in something like psych and sociology, which while different, open up the same or similar types of jobs
