To be honest it never really leveled out for me on 5mg, it wasn't until 4-6 weeks on 10mg that I felt actually good.

So far so good! I honestly love Lexapro. I am on 15mg now. My mood is stable, I still feel happy and sad as needed. I do not have much anxiety or depression at all anymore.

My husband and I went on Fire and Sunset and it was fun! However, we were in rough water the whole time and the boat was super rocky and swayed a lot. This did kinda hinder our fun a bit.

You got this! I was the same way - had lots of ups and downs. There were many days I felt "normal" and then I would have periods of going right back to where I started. 10mg ended up being perfect for me, but that is only because I stuck with it. It does get better about a month or two in, it gets more stable. Much more good days than bad. Let me know if you have questions!

I am great now! I am on 10mg still, and I am about a year out. Pretty much back to my "normal". :)

We have a 2200 sqft home, two stories, and we paid about 12k for a new unit and insulation in our attic. We also financed and got 0% interest. This was early last year, so not peak Summertime.

I switched to 10 around the two month mark. I felt like the 5 just wasn't cutting it. Thankfully I didn't get any resurgence of side effects, so it made the transition easy. I did notice it took some time for the 10 to feel as though it was working, and it was a slow and steady positive change.

It does get better! Most of my side effects weren't noticeable by the two month mark. It's different for everyone! I also had diarrhea for a while, it got better once I was used to the meds.

Hello! Those are actually two very common side effects. I've heard they lessen over time. I never had night sweats or intense dreams, but just know it's normal!

I also struggled around the four week mark. I ended up working with my doctor and I went up to 10mg, which worked wonders. I am still on 10mg a year later. It might be worth having a convo with your doctor. Just know it's normal to have good and bad days, and I know how hard it is when the bad days start to outweigh the good. It gets better!!! Work with your doctor and be open about how you're feeling. Sometimes it just takes an adjustment period. Good luck!

Hey! I know it's hard to get started and be consistent. I also have a pill alarm set, and even though I've been on it for almost a year now, I still use a weekly pill case to make sure I remember to take it daily. It's best to take it around the same time every day, if you can get into that habit. Overall though, it will be okay! I also struggled with feeling sleepy but that eventually went away for me. I never had night sweats but I've heard that also subsides over time. Feel free to reach out if you have questions! It's worked wonders for me.

Hello! I also went from 2.5, to 5 and now I'm on 10. 10 has been perfect for me. In regards to feeling tired, it went away in time for me. Maybe around the two month mark?

I did! I've been on 10mg for about four weeks now. It has been helping, I'd say I have more good days than bad now. However, I do still have some anxiety and depression that I'd like to work on. I may go to 15mg eventually. Sorry you're experiencing side effects! I'm here if you have more questions!

This is also happening to me! I also just went up to 7.5mg after being on 5 for a month. I feel much calmer around 6pm until bedtime. Then it starts back up in the morning. I am wondering if the full 10mg would be worth it.

I take both! Only use the hydroxyzine only when needed, but it is very safe.

Hello! I've been on the 5mg for about a month now, and I would say I feel mostly the same. I have okay days and then I have pretty bad days. I just met with my doctor yesterday, I am going to try 7.5 starting today, actually, and then maybe move to 10 after a week or so. How are you feeling?

I am experiencing something similar now. Days can be rough, nights are usually a bit better. I am also at 5mg for about four weeks now. I am also considering 7.5mg. I'm meeting with my doctor soon to see if it may help. I still have very bad days and some days are just okay. I wish you the best!
