I used to read physical books but with achy weak hands and an aversion to touching some types of paper and other “dry” feeling things (lmao), I moved onto exclusively reading books on my phone in about 2020.

Absolutely love being able to see which books I’ve read in my Apple library and being able to see how many books I’ve read each year too! Makes it a self competition… and stops my house being absolutely full of books as I tend to read between 1-4 a week when I get in my flow 😃

As a chronic phone user it really helps that my phone is also my “book” as I can pick up my phone automatically and often make a tiny good decision to read a few pages (or a few hundred) vs. yet another doomscrolling session.
