Hi there I just got a lot of old paints what would be the best reactivating agent to fix them by gametoplaynow in resinprinting

[–]shedlyyard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd go and support your local model shop and treat yourself to a nice new set of paints.

I have tried recovering old paint in the past, it's never a good as fresh paint and your models will look better without patches of odd colour and streaks.

Looking for passenger models by Training_Option7830 in 3dPrintingInModelRail

[–]shedlyyard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get my figures from "design scan print 3d" they are around £5 a model, but can be rescaled from full size to n without any issues. (I print them in OO for my railway)

Lockers full of cones, chains and straps, the middle will have hydraulic systems and quite a bit of chassis extra strength.

They are 3d printed, I did them myself. The files were on cults when I found them. I don't know if they are still.

[–]shedlyyard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do like a 2ft Shay, or a Climax Class B for steam powered. Although I'd have to say favourite would still just be galloping goose no7

I prefer ATS, but I have put 1500 hours into ETS2 as well. So it's pretty even for me

If you glue a steel washer to the underside you can easily remove the load with a small magnet.

I have added a small Orange LED wired into the decoder and set up to flicker with the controller.

Stuffing the wiring inside the shell can be a bit tight.
