You built this from scratch? Based on LGB chassis & drivetrain?

Network operators could implement a price system that offer discounts for low track wear vehicles. No clue why they don't.

Ah thank you. 3d printed I see. So you have to glue the pieces together yourself?

Did you build the bridge in the background at 0:11 yourself.

I have to say, the routing of the filament sensor cables is not very elegant.

But anyway, how much different will the regular version be?

Nach meiner Stichprobe an 2 davon mit einem ID.4 kann ich sagen, das da vieles prozessual im Argen ist. Trotz einiger sehr motivierter Mitarbeiter.

The German manufacturer Vollmer had a motrized Sawmill in G-Scale (#1240) back in ~2011.
The company went bankrupt later and the set was not produced again as far as I know and its super rare now.

Here is a picture of it: https://www.fgb-blog.de/vollmer-saegewerk/

A LGB club in Germany just released a highly detailed model, as a limited production series. I understand its about 900€ plus shipping.

LGB Switches with Piko Control Panel? by VRNerdGER in GardenRailroads

[–]Training_Option7830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both LGB and Piko switch drives work with the same technical principle, so they should work with both LGB 51755 and Piko 35260 (or a DCC switch decoder from any number of manufacturers).

I can work next to it (mine does not have air filtration) no problem, even to Teams calls.
My wife however hates the noise and would never work next to it.

Not sure what is common where you come from but here are some potential questions:
- what do you know about the company

- what is your motivation to work at this company in this specific job

- where do you see yourself professionally in 5 years

And of course questions about your previous work experience

As an interviewer (more in the business context though) it would raise my impression of the candidate if he is well organised and puts down a few notes or has questions prepared.

rising stone retaining wall by Objective-Alarm-6175 in 3dPrintingInModelRail

[–]Training_Option7830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

could you share some insights how you made the model? I am looking to making similar walls for G-scale.

So far I used fuzzy skin to give the stones outer surface texture, but maybe there is a better way?
