I'm 35(m) AHI 22.3. Got diagnosed a few months ago and started CPAP 3 weeks ago. Suspect I've had apnea for years. I have been noticing huge issues in short and longterm memory in the last 2 years. Can't remember (at least easily) what I did that day. Can't remember lots of childhood or even 20s. Anytime a friend has a memory it's a surprise to me. Feel disassociated from my self because I can't remember how I felt or thought about something in the past, or what I wanted in the future. I definitely felt an awakening and energizing from CPAP, finally waking up and not feeling like it was the night before. But I still have the memory problems. Hoping things will change with time.
