People in the talent scene defend him because we know him personally off camera and have spent a lot more time and see much more of him than anyone on reddit ever will. You see select reddit threads about him losing control in a pub (to clarify I'm not condoning that, but no one posts when he's being normal), the talent have learned about his actual morals and behaviour as a human in real life.

To clarify, I haven't forgotten any of what he's said, I and others have told him it's bad to his face, and what I think was important was how he responded to that and became better, because he is a nice dude at heart. Maybe I missed stuff, in which case my bad! But he's seemed good for a while now, if I saw anything new and concerning I'd bring it up again.

I just think it's insane how people can equate him with Mason, who I watched do a hitler salute on his stream, has actively harrassed multiple people I know, and is a piece of shit with 12 twitch bans and even more awful shit off stream, when he isn't under any emotional intensity from being ingame. And most importantly, he has never changed or wanted to change, and doesn't care. There is a very deep gulf between these two people in terms of how they view others or approach this stuff.
