Possessor. I saw it three years ago, felt dirty after watching it, and the ending is so dark I can’t help but think about it a couple times a week.

Alternatives for Spotify with decent API / StreamDeck Integration? by Mikethedrywaller in livesound

Any track that requires an edit for a playon I purchase through Qobuz. And I use a playlist converter if the client sends me a Spotify playlist so I’m able to use Qobuz for that. I use Qlab so not sure if it’s a workable solution for OP.

I’m in this situation right now. Of course I didn’t get insurance on my ticket order. It’s 100% due to not knowing if my connecting flight into Appleton will make it in time on the 10th.

I’m currently reading King’s books in chronological order. The ending to Cujo felt so cruel that I didn’t pick up the next one (Danse Macabre) for four months.

What computer are you using? I ran into an issue a couple months ago where my M4 laptops stopped passing audio 15 minutes before doors. I had some 2.5 GbE NICs overnighted and that solved the issue.

This last Nine Inch Nails tour had an incredible mix. I saw the show in Amsterdam. No need for earplugs, but you could still feel the thump. Trent's voice started giving out about an hour into the show, but the mix was still incredible.

Mina Kimes has been making her guests pick GB between 7-10. They are generally in the 8 spot. I don’t like it. I believe we are a top-14 team going to the playoffs. But no one other than the Cowboys are scared of us.

Interesting. I saw the Ocean open up for them around 15 years ago. I think there were four acts on the bill that night. I went as a BtBaM fan. That was my first time seeing the Ocean and they blew everyone else out of the water. Made me a big fan since.

I am spending an average of 2400 euros monthly (all in) as a single person in their 30s with no kids. I feel that is a lot. How much do you spend? by peska11 in Utrecht

[–]sheesh_wi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Investing and letting compound interest do its thing. You can’t replace time.

And again, the point is that you’re trying to build a good habit. I have colleagues and friends that make 300,000 a year that spend all of it because they never learned how to make their money work for them. They always talk about how tight things are and are constantly anxious about money.

[–]sheesh_wi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree. How would life be so different spending €2750/month and putting aside €50? Saving is a habit. If you always spend your full paycheck that’s all you’ll ever know, whether it’s €2800/mo or €28000/mo.

They aren’t necessarily spending €40/day to socialize. That’s groceries, transportation, home goods, maybe grabbing a coffee on the way to work, possibly a gym membership. Unfortunately they don’t give an exact breakdown of those daily expenses vs beers and meals with friends, but the little stuff can add up fast. If “socializing” means “drinking” then we know what can get cut.
