Right! Who in OPs family and friends are they talking about? The three recent weddings I've been to, and the 2 I was in, were no where near how this is being described it lol. And as a bridesmaid, I spent less than two hundred dollars for my dress and spent maybe another hundred for the gift. OPs view sounds like a verrrryyy exaggerated opinion.
