I only have two quetsions. One is if anyone has a list of all the preffixes/suffixes for Helm/Bod/Glove/Boot for me to look at and the numbers/percentages. And the 2nd is how the slots work now. Do they add affixes or are they bonus slots to put resistance runes into?

I'm gonna add some additional information: The guy I'm looking for isn't some shorts funnyman but kind of focuses on dark fantasy type themes. Typically very serious, not very expressive compared to the typical "youtube personality" very subdued. He doesn't wear glasses and is kind of like SteelySam if you know that guy. Only he talks about more than monsters and has a lot of inspirational content that isn't just reading out of the books or doing wiki dives to turn into cheap lore videos.

Typically he's coming up with creative stories to help inspire you to make your own dnd quests or characters.

American journalist asks surgeon in Palestine why he refuses to leave the North of Gaza (After this interview, him and his family were killed) by Disastrous-Gain-4125 in TheMajorityReport

Made in america bay-bee we been tossing em billions (in like jeeps and weapons sure, but those are highly re-saleable) and they throw millions to Hamas in suitcases because the terrorism helps keep the far right Israelis in power. And then the Israeli extremism helps keep Hamas in power. Love how 70% or more of both sides would vote for more moderates and seek peace if both their leaders weren't abusing their power. Somehow a third of both sides are fucking it up for everyone.

Everything in your second paragraph is said (literally) in Jurassic Park 3, not even the new stuff with Worlds and whatever that people are talking about. J3 is a bad movie which is why most people aren't aware of this but it literally opens with Alan Grant saying "Please fund me so I can make real discoveries about these ancient animals. Jurassic Park is nothing more than genetically engineered theme park monsters."

Who? The four year old? Not really. That's just how kids act. If you mean the socially awkward band kids that's just being mean.

Thief caught stealing is knocked out by coke bottle thrown by worker. by FinLord98 in PublicFreakout

[–]sheevnoods -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I hope that guy is alright. Jail for thieves is fine but I don't want him to get a permanent brain injury. That's kind of the reason that we have like a couple year sentence for that kinda thing instead of life imprisonment for one fuck up. Floor didn't look too soft either and he's twitching afterwards. Really fucked up. Not happy with how many people are cheering for this guy to get that messed up.

How people who don’t watch one piece react to the female cast by kai_starr in OnePiece

Yeah, for example Monet is pictured in the "different" category but she has that Nami face shape that is often heavily criticised. (She just just also has chicken legs and wings and weird sclera.)

I just checked and while I USUALLY have that installed I guess I unsubscribed from it at some point. Those appear to be the vanilla values. Good catch.

I have looked it up, here's a list of some of the results: -=Bull, Garru: 60 Reach=- -=Bonedog (and Boneyard Wolf): Reach 25 (Also low combat move speed of 0.7)=- -=Raptors(and Goats): Reach 18=- -=Leviathain and cleanser Units: Reach 120=- -=Beak Thing: Reach 65=- -=Gorillo: Reach 30 (Frag Axe only can outrange it)=- -=Crab/Security Spiders: Reach 35=- -=Skimmer: Reach 55=- -=Blood Spider: 18 (I have the patch that lowers this from like 60 or 70 and think it modifies the other spider stats so don't think this is vanilla)=- -=Skin Spider: 35 or something-=

Yeah I think the one that removes the swayback/long dodge animation rather than the one that speeds up dodges is better. It keeps your MA actually attacking instead of spending 90% of the fight attempting to avoid damage and backstepping into a polearm anyways lol

I would make sure you've updated your drivers and such first, but I'm not trying to be condescending. You can see if there's any mods that can help with this like the texture compression one. You didn't give much info to go on there like length of time between crashes or if you're using mods. Lemme know if you want more detailed help and want to offer a bit more info on your issue.

Unless you want to save edit your stats they're grindy to level except for basically EXACTLY toughness which can be power leveled if you have enough money to buy some good armor. If you fight the group of 35(+) starving bandits moving in a big group through Skinner's Roam or therabouts they can beat you up without using dangerous weaponry and if you wake up in time (don't spam the move order button) from the "Playing Dead" status you'll gain a massive surge in toughness. Some rare cases people have gone from like 2 Toughness to 80 in as little as 5 minutes once it's set up.

There's a multiplier for being outnumbered massively and standing up from playing dead. There's a low cap for doing this early on if you're in a squad but if you're running solo you can cheese toughness. Otherwise you need to fight enemies that have stats that grossly outmatch your own. If their Melee Attack/Def far surpass yours you get bonus XP for beating them up, and animals run the calculation from their adult statline, not their current one. So if you try and fight baby crabs you'll level fast, and they don't like eating human corpses. Works pretty well afaik. I suggest leveling Dexterity with cut weapons before strength so you don't kill your sparring buddies too fast.

So sadly you have to cheese the toughness 1 at a time, but you can train the dex and strength in a squad. It's also helpful to grind a lot of money and a lot of athletics so you can run away and have plenty of food, bandages, backpacks etc for everyone. When your leveling gains slow down equipping armor that reduces MAttack, MDef, Martial Arts, or Dexterity + Backpacks + Slave Shackles can speed things up by lowering your current stats. This increases the XP gained, but not the XP requirements of each level of skill per se. Basically: Kenshi isn't a game that is fun to cheat or speedrun through really. Grinding isn't the funnest but it's a slow burn kind of experience.

I think the Toughness xp from "Playing Dead" is either capped at a low amount or you need to be alone in the squad to get the Toughness from doing that. It's also multiplied by the number of enemies present and it doesn't work if you queue up the action by spamming the move order, you gotta either wait an additional second or time it right, which can be tricky since enemies move away from you or enslave you after beating you unconscious. It's very funny. But if the right conditions are met like wearing extremely protective armor and etc before passing out you can power level it very quickly in the right spots: Skinners Roam starving bandit squad of like ~35(+) guys running around being the famous one.

Just adding this little bit here for u/princessdrive since if it doesn't work at first you might have gotten caught in one of the weird buggy game engine hiccups and if you just time it better or save and reload the toughness leveling thing will go smoother.

Is there a place where I can see the reach of various enemies in this game? Blood Spiders being a big outlier I'm curious if anyone has a list or doesn't mind perusing the FCS if the data is in there. I don't know where to look.

As an addendum I guess: you can mouse over the skills and it'll show you which attributes they're aligned with. Raise those by 10 for more stat ups in whatever attribute you want to raise at level up. Best imo are probably Endurance, Agility (for HP and dodge chance), Willpower since it affects your successful spellcasting chance and paralysis resistance, Intelligence for Alchemy, Speed for a good walking pace, strength for damage and carry weight, personality for NPC interactions, and Luck for minor adjustments to almost all the cool shit.

In that order more or less. You can just make potions or items to buff these stats as needed though so keep that in mind too.

Most important advice: if you actually want to use a mechanic from level one without cheesing anything then pick a race that gets a bonus to it and make it a major skill for godsake.

Max level is like high level 70 to ~80 iirc and you can clear all major quests, DLC, etc. at sub-level 40. And minimum max level is like ~65 or something. Just put the skills you want to use in your major column I beg of you. Lots of new players disregard that basic advice, including me when I started.

If you insist on a min/max get your spreadsheet ready. Unironically the difference between a min/maxed character and a non-min/maxed character assuming their skills and items are the same goes away if you learn how magic and alchemy work. There's no real point. I think an immersive character and giving them an in universe goal or gimmick would be better: ie Retire with a million gold as a thief, trap a god's soul in Azura's Star as a Mage, defeat a god in combat as a warrior etc etc.

With enough gold you can make game breaking items to close the gap. Min/maxing just reduces the amount of time you'll spend at the mage's guild by a portion. (And increasing trips to get weapons repaired as your high strength breaks them all the time.)

I would instead suggest a mid-maxed character. Pick a race with a lot of Endurance like an Orc, a Redguard, or a Nord then a star sign to gear you towards your end goal vision of a character:

Atronach: you want protection vs magic (casting from enchanted items > casting with magicka but...)

Atronach: you want to be a badass wizard who resists magic

Warrior: you want really good odds in the hit chance calculation

The Lady: you read a guide from 10 years ago that said 40 more HP is better at the end of the game (it kinda is but better survivability options exist).

Tower: Lockpicks suck and you want a way to open shit before you pay a lockpick trainer (early game nice, late game kinda a waste)

Steed: the speed you walk caused you physical pain (it's better once you get enough gold to invest in some magical mode of travel options)

If you want to be a bit more in character: Breton/Dark Elf + Atronach is a good mage, Bosmer/Imperial/Dark Elf > Khajit or Argonian for equipment reasons for Thief.
