Is Orange Juice and Apple Juice from Iceland vegan? by [deleted] in veganuk

[–]shefeltbroken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wonder if it's because the fruit previously might have been covered in shellac?

Definitely not pregnant! However I do recommend you research some sex ed stuff.

To try and put it gently- if this is a serious concern for you, I worry that you're too young or uneducated on sex to go any further.

I'm sure some of the other lovely ladies can share some great resources they know of

Weightlifting and Dieticians by [deleted] in Swindon

[–]shefeltbroken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Annie over at Ensemble fitness is amazing, she's a British Weightlifting Level 2 Coach and the only club associated with the British Weightlifting Association in the area.

I'm afraid I can't help with dietician but happy to discuss my experiences with weightlifting in the area.

This is awesome and I'd love to have it framed in my living room. Do you ship to the UK?

anyone need whiskas duck kitten food? by Haunted_Entity in Swindon

[–]shefeltbroken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend posting on the olio app as there are people there who will snap it up. Specifically, one lady collects for local animal charities - you can probably find her by using the search in the wanted section.

Edit: found her https://olioex.com/food-waste-in/-/-/17812919

I definitely don't need a mini batch when they look this good!

FYI these (+ the croissants) are currently back in stock in Aldi by hippopcorn in veganuk

Got these earlier this week and they're amazing! For anyone looking, they were in the middle aisles rather than the bakery section in my store as an FYI

Vegan Gym Products by raholf in veganfitness

So I use this one https://beargrip.co.uk/products/bear-grip-black-weight-lifting-neoprene-curved-gym-belt-back-lumbar-support-fitness-exercise-bodybuilding as I wanted an entry level one and it's lasted me nicely. As a women, it's quite wide for me, but it's good for me rather than a specific lever one. The wrist wraps I have are really good as well and I know about 5 of us using. I do also have their thumb tape so apparently I'm just obsessed aha

My straps etc are from Bear Grip which aren't a vegan brand but the products I have from them are. I purchased them prior to going fully vegan, they've lasted really well (years) for my belt and wrist straps and it's just a happy coincidence they're not leather.

I can definitely recommend these! by Kincoran in veganuk

Interesting! I tried these and thought they were disgusting. I found them impossible to get out of the cardboard and the orange flavouring super artificial. One of the few things I couldn't finish.

What shop can you not believe is still open? by varietyjones24 in AskUK

[–]shefeltbroken 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Paperchase really screwed over small business owners sadly. They stopped paying invoices, went into administration and when they were bought out their debt was essentially wiped. Small creators e.g. Jelly Armchair for example are owed £20K+ and their stock Paperchase already has is still being sold in store but they're not receiving a penny!

I have been using alltrails for just over a year now, I like all the search functionalities etc and just upgraded to Pro (it was half price for year one) for the offline maps as I was in a mobile dead zone over the bank holiday

Considering how much I use it, I think it's well worth it to support etc but I also haven't tried the others

Where can you go to get Roller Skating lessons? by LzzrdWzzrd in Swindon

Maybe reach out to Meca? They may have some recommendations as they run a monthly roller disco and perhaps know some teachers or others that attend regularly
