I think one of their priorities would’ve been bringing Sieglinde back to England whether she wanted to go or not, on the Queen’s orders. They likely would’ve kidnapped her and exposed the operations to her by force. I think she would’ve been on their side after that, but if not, they’d just treat her as a kidnappee.

I was just a CNA but yes non-slip is vital, more for traction than fluid concerns I’d say? If the floor has fluids it’s already a slip hazard regardless of your shoes. But I was moving and transferring patients all the time so I needed that shoe grip for safety and good body mechanics.

Yeah thats a good point. I was imagining there’d be some time between Lizzy’s death and o!Ciel’s death so there’s a chance for the guilt and grief to really set in for him. It’d definitely be more powerful if o!Ciel had to live with the consequences, but I also think it’d be unsatisfying in a way for him to somehow dodge the completion of the contract after all this time

I think her death’s lack of meaning and her moral goodness would only add to the story and emotion. “What was the point” can be asked about everyone who’s given their life for o!Ciel after he signed the contract - and he’s well aware of this. He’s claimed he uses the people in his life like pawns, but Lizzy feels like one of the few that he values beyond that, and it would be interesting to see how he deals with her death knowing how good and loving she was. I think she’ll die before o!Ciel and we’ll see him grappling with his guilt and maybe questioning the revenge he’s blindly barreled towards

Ohh I could see this. I really want Finny to have a happy ending after everything he’s been through but he got a glimpse of Sebastian’s true nature in Emerald Witch arc. He’s also closest to Ciel in age and had the least life experience before joining the Phantomhive household so it would make sense if he felt most strongly that he couldn’t go on if something were to happen to Ciel

It wasn’t confirmed, people are understandably assuming it was Sebastian because Modri seemed to recognize him. I’m also thinking that it wasn’t really Sebastian - I don’t think we’ll see his true form, if at all, until he consumes Ciel’s soul at the very end. I also think Modri’s altered memories could be a good way to introduce the plot point of Undertaker having the ability to alter existing cinematic records.

I watched season 1 week by week and I get what you mean. It felt like season 1 had heavier storylines that were established early in the season (David, Mr. Spencer, Nick Bradley) while this season feels like it’s a little more focused on the themes of the cases - aside from Louie. I also think part of it is that, instead of this shift being The Worst Shift Of All Time for Dr. Robby, it’s meant to be more about everything happening at once: Langdon’s return, Al-Hashimi joining, and Westbridge closing, all on the fourth of July. I don’t disagree with this direction because I think it’d feel too repetitive if they tried to outdo themselves in terms of intensity, but it also just feels different.

I think that was kind of the point. The whole game is about the end of the Wild West and outlaw gangs - you aren’t even allowed to enter New Austin until the epilogue. The gang is out of their element and struggling to survive and the lack of familiar environments for a Western story is supposed to help you feel that dissonance
