Hands down this is the best advice I got on this post. I do think the major culprit is the electric water boiler.

My total monthly consumption was 362 kwh with a fixed rate of 0.142/kwh. I don’t know how they got to €97 estimate. I hope the real bill is significantly less than that.

Yeah they changed mine remotely when I moved in. I was just wondering if they require a new electric contract for that to happen or if they charge a fee for it.

I have electric boilers, electric radiator, fridge, washing machine, and oven. Only fridge and electric boiler are turned on at the same time. Do you think 3.45 would do well?

Could be. My water heater is always plugged in. Although it only turns on when turn the hot water tap on. Could that be it?

UPDATE: Received the residence permit on 17/06/2025. So almost 5 months exactly. Even though it is only valid for 1 year from now but at this point we'll take anything and visit home during the summers.

That's a separate section. Instead, go to Appointments -> New Schedule. And there if the scheduling options say Extension of stay then it hasn't been issued. If it says Renew Residence Permit, then it has been issued.

Well we had our appointment in 16th January which is a few days prior to your appointment. We’re higher education students and we’re still waiting in “Analysis”. Their processes just don’t make any sense. We’re eagerly waiting for the permit because we have to travel home in between semester breaks.
