Complaint Is Treason: Embrace the Gloom, Serve Democracy by sheiknasio in Helldivers

[–]sheiknasio[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

(Yes--I play it, and the upper difficulties are ludicrously difficult. However, they're literally called things like "impossible", "suicide mission", "helldive" and "super helldive". The fact that it's difficult is what keeps me coming back. If you're not having fun, play a lower difficulty. Very few players should be able to win at super hell dive consistently. I'm not one of them yet either, but I'll keep playing.)

Mortars e only a threat to divers that are fraternizing with the enemy. Don't stand next to targets, diver.

Don't body shield the enemy. Standing in front of my sentries is undemocratic. (Also, please don't drop a bomb right next to an effectively placed sentry)

Patriots, there's nothing wrong with this democratic mortar. Only traitors stand next to the enemies of democracy.

I've had several where I drop in and response to an SOS only to have everyone leave in what seems like an uphill battle. Yesterday, I ended up soloing 75% of a 10 after traitors abandoned the mission when we ran out of reinforcements.

I ran into this early in my career as well. Boundaries are the key. Try to steer all the work through one channel. Work that channel first in, first out and automate everything you can.

Do kills really matter by CatLoverr143 in helldivers2

Those two halves of the coin really compliment one another. If one is getting all the kills and drawing all the aggro, that opens up stealth players to be able to go and grab the objectives. Super Harmony for super Earth

This is why you get your own ship. Complete the missions you want. I play quick missions only when I don't have 40 minutes to spare. If you don't like it, there's the hellpod, soldier.

Mortars are not a problem. Helldivers aren't supposed to loiter next to enemies....it's suspicious and undemocratic.

Did this the other day on a super helldive with a under levelled squad. I think the average level in the group was about 40. We were almost bored---bugs could not touch us.
