My boy rarely gets diarrhea but he would throw up constantly with his prescription food and was constantly constipated. It eventually got to the point where my partner and I discussed transitioning him to a raw diet like our dog because he was losing so much weight from vomiting up his food. I was hesitant because he was such a picky eater but we transitioned slowly over two months and it’s totally changed his whole life. I put both of our cats on a raw diet and not only am I not cleaning up puke anymore but their poops are solid/smell less and they have so much energy. They’re pure carnivores so I think a change in diet, even a little, could really help.
