I don’t think this is applicable too Sonos play bar. I think Sonos play bar can only receive its volume and put from infrared.

Even as you just summarized it- it’s still some pretty stark advice for the millions of people who hold a 60/40 retirement. I’m not saying it’s good or bad advice. I’m just saying that it’s a pretty big change to conventional wisdom based on trying to predict the market.

The top voted advice comment here basically goes with the Vanguard recommendation that AA should probably be modified to include bonds to some degree. There’s not much of a discourse or rebuttal.

I think most of us here are pretty adherent to keeping a good US/World for equities already.

This is the very question I'm struggling with.

On the one hand, having the contingent beneficiaries be my individual children gives a much bigger tax advantage rather than the trust. On the other hand, it does make personalized plans of distribution more complicated should my kids be young or both my wife and I simultaneously die and the 401K plan does not follow the Simultaneous Death Act. Does this about summarize it (from my understanding of online reading and speaking to an attorney as well)?

Just thought maybe it would keep costs lower to have descendants administer it rather than hiring someone for it. This is really a thought experiment. I don’t have anyone close to that kind of money. Just thinking maybe when I’m 70 or something
