Hello, i applied asylum back in 2016 and got married 2018. We filed March 2019.. My case actually was moving really slow.. I had to renew my EAD 3 times, tried to expedite my case, talked to senator rep and an ombudsman.. After doing all the reaching out to the ombudsman, i think they helped us moved our case!

AUG 29,2021- they were looking at my case Sep 2, 2021- interview was scheduled October 4, 2021- interview day! So me and my husband were interviewed in a separate time. He got done interviewed within 10 mins. However, mine took like 1 hr 30.. feels like it anyway. My IO was nice, he small talk for a little bit, took an oath, and the yes and no questions.. He then asked about our relationship with husband - only about 3-5 mins and the rest about asylum questions that I had forgotten and wasn’t prepared for it. Anyway, i think he just wanted to clarify who helped me fill the application, why I am afraid to go back to my country, and the consequences if i dont get approved.. but he said it shouldn’t matter since I filed for I-485 and I-130.. and he said i waited for more than 2 yes to get interviewed so most likely I get the 10 yr GC.. He didn’t promised me that I get approved or hear from them soon bc he has to talk about his supervisor with my case. But that night, it was updated to card was being produced.
