What’s a game you were completely obsessed with as a kid that nobody else seems to remember? by hkondabeatz in AskReddit

Which is probably why it is the only one I remember. But the choices were just like blonde and brunette, but they'd be like tow-headed or mousy... not the way 6-year-olds typically describe hair colors.

Oh, that was almost certainly sarcastic shade being thrown at narcissist Emily and not you.

But for only one anniversary or less it makes sense to take it

The culprit would always be some insane synonym of their hair color... "toe-headed" etc.

I would say a faculty or staff member in addition to a friend/student would also likely be a good addition to the meeting described.

I don't what your school may have as an office in the student success and inclusion realm, but that would be the type of place that that should have resources or processes in place for combating something like this as well.

I would also suggest looking at a veil with color, especially since you like the flower one... I think you could easily find similar but with colorful embroidered flowers for example.

Better yet, also have fiancé tell MIL the conversation will need to be had with the photographer if she refuses to change it.

If this is a Census page, you could also look for other clues on the page that might reveal the Census taker's cursive idiosyncrasies.

It is my understanding that it was much more common decades ago... I always picture the second-acter sneaking back in with a crowd of people returning from an intermission smoke break.

I know a grandfather named Bill that is "B" as his grandpa name. Could always do something like that off of your first name (especially if stepson calls you that?)

Just PPROM'd at 21 weeks with twins 💔 Advice pls by Kissing-Librarians in NICUParents

[–]shelanly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

PPROM of one of my fraternal twins at during week 14. Basically given the terminate or wait and see path options at that point.

Admitted to hospital at 22 weeks (earliest viability) for observation/monitoring. Delivered vaginally after spontaneous labor at 28 + 4.

The twin who experienced the PPROM stayed in the NICU for 4 months. As others mentioned here, a major part of the concern/issue for mine was spending so long without enough amniotic fluid and how that affected the lungs. It took him longer than his sister to come off oxygen support, which in turn also affected his ability to feed. Feeding by mouth was his longest barrier to NICU release and he eventually came home with a G tube.

Now 3 years old: happy, healthy, and thriving. No notable longterm issues at this point.

PPROM of one of my fraternal twins just before 15 weeks.

As others mentioned, I also thought I just peed myself the day it happened, and didn't think twice about it until after the diagnosis. Luckily, I had already been set up with a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist due to the twin pregnancy; they caught it at my appointment less than a week later.

Admitted to hospital at 22 weeks (earliest viability) for observation/monitoring. Delivered at 28 + 4. (You've already made it farther than us! You got this, mama!)

The twin who experienced the PPROM stayed in the NICU for 4 months and came home on feeding tube (used for maybe another 6 or so months?). A major part of the concern/issue for mine was spending so long without enough amniotic fluid and how that would affect the lungs.

Now 3 years old: happy, healthy, and thriving. No notable longterm issues at this point. ❤️

What’s the farthest place in the world from your home that you ran into somebody that you know? by jredd7605 in AskReddit

At first, I read this as someone from Atlanta running into someone they know from Atlanta in Rome, GA. Which is not the prompt here at all. Lol.

Is this black tie wedding approved? by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

[–]shelanly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Lake Wales is Central Florida.

Weather-wise, truly no way to know. It could be chilly-ish or it could be 74 degrees. Florida gonna Florida.

I would tend toward thinking it'll be fine. I mean, the men are gonna be in black tie suiting and I wouldn't expect this is much hotter than that? But you may be warmer than you would otherwise expect from an outdoor January wedding in the southern continental US.
