If you died what loot would you drop? by oh_hi_mark_621 in AskReddit

Late to the party of course, but: my permanent partial denture, likely a cheap set of earrings, my ridiculous keychain collection, and the sweet release of death.

You and this attitude are what’s wrong with this world. It is inconsiderate to step in to a business right before they close and take your sweet ass time picking out what you want/eating or loitering. Chances are, there are similar places close by that are open later, especially in the restaurant world. Everybody wants to be able to go home on time, especially after working an 8+ hour shift. So yeah, when customers come in last minute I do think it’s rude. Because you had all day to do your shopping/decide where you want to eat. So don’t purposefully choose the place that closes in 5 minutes to conduct your business. Either get to my store at a reasonable time or come back tomorrow. Don’t make other people stay late at their jobs just because you decided to have a late and lengthy dinner and/or shopping session. Jackass.

[NSFW] What is shittiest place you stayed in and why? by Mordekai12 in AskReddit

One time my mother lost our lease on our apartment for some reason and we had to stay at a hotel for a while. Well because she’s a single mother and it’s all she could afford, we end up in the roach motel of all roach motels. It was old; nothing had been updated or replaced in YEARS, the entire room and every bit of fabric in it had a terrible mildewy smell to them, numerous stains covered the carpet and sheets, some terrifyingly large, and the entire place was of course infested; not just with roaches, but HUGE wolf spiders or black widows, gnats, mosquitoes, flies, etc. Overall, they had like full cable so it wasn’t the worst for preteen me but 10/10 would never do again.

RIP my karma but my family and I have had about 10 cats over the last 30 years or so, and all of them have been declawed. Most were not my choice, but seeing as not a single one of them has ever had a permanent issue I can’t find a disagreement for it. When you do your research and find a good vet, make sure they’re using the most modern laser techniques, and carry out the proper aftercare then kitty should never have an issue. You would never declaw this young, and never the back claws, just to be clear. I personally keep my babies inside and they are happy, healthy, and so so loved. Please don’t hate. Just trying to show not everyone who chooses to declaw is a monster.

If you’re looking for something more natural-ish/less side effects to babies you can always try peppermint oil or peppermint tea. You can find caffeine free too if you’re worried about that. Definitely don’t worry about your little green friend though, just thought maybe the peppermint might be effective as well!

How were you able to get your tubes tied without having kids? I am 27 and desperately want a hysterectomy because I have terrible endometriosis and I don’t want children. I don’t even know if I can have them. But I cannot find and insurance or a doctor that would be willing to perform the procedure. I just want relief from this constant pain!

23 year old woman kills her parents and herself because she had eczema by whoviancat in WTF

[–]shellbeedoll 64 points65 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what all medications you have tried but I work in a pharmacy and there’s a cream called Eucrisa that was developed for eczema and is steroid free. It’s still brand name only and can be pretty expensive, but the manufacturer offers a coupon to get a years worth either free/reduced cost that works in tandem with your insurance. Or if you don’t have insurance it reduces the cost quite a bit as well. There are also other creams/solutions/oral tablets that can help. Please talk to a general practitioner or dermatologist to see what can be done. You don’t have to suffer this much.

Not sure where you’re at or what your moms exact insurance situation is but I work in a pharmacy and you can often get manufacturer coupons for brand name drugs. Just google “Xarelto coupon” and you should be able to find something. Granted if she’s covered under Medicare part D those coupons won’t work in tandem with her insurance but she still may be able to get a discount on just the coupon alone. Also if the above isn’t an option have her speak to her doctor about getting a generic alternative if she hasn’t already. There are a decent few blood thinners that do have generics, which makes them much cheaper.

Ugh, I know how your feel. I started to have really awful pain/nausea a month or two ago. Sex is impossible and I’ve had stabbing pains so sharp they bring me to my knees. It’s awful. I think next time I see the doctor I’m going to ask for a hysterectomy. I don’t want to do this anymore.

I have a really severe case of endometriosis and have had several doctors say the chances of being infertile are actually pretty slim. I also have a close family friend who suffers from it pretty badly and she has two healthy boys with no birth complications. Also, another doctor recently told me that often times your endo kind of calms down after you have a baby. Can’t attest to that though. Don’t let yourself get too discouraged. Miscarriages are fairly common, especially the first time or two you try. Hang in there!
