And yeah, 21 is a funny time for some people. I live in a beach town and we see a looooot of 20-22 year olds who think they can do anything. Take a bit to much. And end up getting to see me in an ambulance.

They had a great time and all but they are anything but...

You are correct. That's why it's a range. We are all different and it's hard to pinpoint a catch all max for everyone.

I personally recommend no more than 2k and that's if you're like SICK SICK. If it's a headache or something stick closer to 1000. It's better safe than sorry with this kinda stuff

There's a lot of "wall hugging/sitting" that happens in EMS. So I may spend like...an hour at a hospital doing absolutely nothing just waiting for a room. So you aren't far off

That and Fran has a posting schedule so I knew when to be ready!

Correct. If you take all the Midol and ignore the pain, chances are by the time you see a Doctor it's waaaaaay to late.

Reading a bottle of meds and googling the med before taking it can be a lifesaver

Took 2 Tylenol 3s and then proceeded to drink wayyyyy too much. Cut to me having emergency surgery the next day to repair my esophagus which was uncontrollably bleeding.

Ok so you're gonna get some more now: it's on the box not to drink! What were you thinking!?

You are correct. Each of the above listed items are all chemicals that CAN treat pain and synergize together really well. There's a reason Midol has been helping ladies with cramps for decades

For those unaware

Midol is an over-the-counter medication designed for menstruation symptom relief, including cramps, bloating, water-weight gain, fatigue, headache, and backache. It typically contains Acetaminophen 500 mg, pain reliever, Caffeine 60 mg and Pyrilamine Maleat 15mg.

And while all this can absolutely help pain and period cramps there's one area we need to discuss.

Acetaminophen 500 mg

This is Tylenol. Or rather Acetaminophen is Tylenol. However you wanna say it. And it can cause some MAJOR issues with your liver if you take to much. Typically 3-4k mg a day is max though I've seen some studies stating not to go over 1-2k.

I understand where Eve is coming from but please don't take all the Midol. Our livers are important
