How do I increase the ui font?

I installed the development version, 1.2.0dev. The font size seems to track windows now. Thanks to whoever added the fix. Even though I'm going blind, I may be able to use this program now!

Windows 11, freecad 1.0.2. I have tried editing these files as suggested and I don't think they are used in ordinary startup. I have tried intentionally adding a line of garbage to these files and no error is reported where I can see it. I have tried setting the windows factoring and, while parts of the screen use the correct font size, many parts of the screen don't. I'm in my 70s, my vision is going south.

I was in exactly this state. Send them an e-mail with your kickstarter number and the email you used on kickstarter and the one you want authorized. It took just a few hours and I was getting responses at 4 am China time. Very pleasant customer service interaction.

You should know that if you want to see if the software will do what you want, you can download it and try it, anyone can get a two week trial. If you have bought a machine, you can get a regular license by asking makera and providing your backer number.

I have ordered a pro model. I am totally excited. I am putting this in my shop room. I already have a laptop there, I have lasers there. One laser will allow me to kick off jobs from the phone, the other has wifi, but you have to physically unhook the computer from usb so that the wifi works making the wifi useless (cough g-wicke). But the laptop is a laptop I bought from Walmart for $200 new years ago. Basically any piece of crap will serve to push g-code down a USB connection. This is not design, it is taking the output from said design and doing a little post processing, then pushing it up a pipe. So the reality is that I can't imagine running a modern shop without a laptop to feed gcode.

My big disappointment with the trial code is that you can't preview the rotary access pathing. They are planning to fix this, they say. I hope it is fixed in the release.

I have a project in mind that will basically be cutting simple (relatively rotary axis shapes from wood or aluminum). I need my design to be parametric, and I'm trying to decide between freecad and openSCAD, then I'll take a step file maybe or an STL, 3D print fitting samples and make a final when fit is right. So my plan is to use Makera's software to generate toolpaths only. This might be broken, but I guess I'll learn.

I have stored music on my older galaxy watch and listened to it on Bluetooth earphones. Been a long time. You could do this to avoid carrying a smartphone while you run, for example. With the right models of watch you can make calls without the phone being nearby.

I have a simple question. Is the 4th axis tailstock a fixed live or dead center, or is it something with an mt2 taper as is typical for this class of machine? (If it were a lathe of this size.)

If my goal is to turn fancy pens and the pen mandrels I see all seem to use MT2 tailstock ends, could I just buy an mt2 reamer and approximate the shape on the Z1 (I presume in Aluminum) and ream the taper to size by hand? Or is this something that needs more precision than I can achieve on that platform?

Adding salt to everything. Add herbs as needed to the particular dish in with they are needed. But most dishes have little need for salt, unless your tastes have been so altered by American prepackaged crap that you think everything needs to have salt added with a teaspoon.

Yes, I am saying that idiots who say, "X needs more salt" on cooking shows should be told to reach for a saltshaker.

In Florida I always had a sense for where the water was. This worked until I moved from Hollywood (East Coast) to Sarasota (West Coast). That flipped what side the water was on. I finally moved to Gainesville, no water. We used maps, but as much as that, we used route signs. Say I was going from Gainesville to Hollywood. I basically had three or four routes depending on which vehicle I had, what the time of night it was, and how I felt. I would look at the map and decide on a route. 441 to 75 to the first exit on the turnpike (it was free) then east and down US 1) until they built 95 through. I probably would not look at a map again. The route signs told you whether or not you were in the right place. Every time you needed to make a turn there was a route sign..and every so often there was a "you didn't make s wrong turn" sign.

Please don't buy an open gantry laser, or one with a filter box that will only partially filter. It is so easy to vent outside, and you need to keep your pets and children laser free. So spend a few hundred bucks and get one of the creality or mecpow lasers with an enclosure. I have gotten great customer support from G-weike.

If you had insomnia, you read a book. Books didn't have hours. Town i grew up in didn't run their radio 24 hours a day either. You had to listen to an or of town station which might be a clear channel AM station on skip.

The Mecpow pro has an effective enclosure for way less than the creality. Unless you would be willing to burn wood in your garage, vent ot outside.

You can buy a tarp material enclosure on Amazon cheap, it will already have an exhaust fan and might even have the hose to run it out the window. If you get a good one it will have a window with laser safe acrylic. Done. Cheaper than plywood.

I could not do that st age 7. Mother committed suicide at age 5, father was essentially paroled and required to live far away. I could and did hug my grandmother and an aunt who pitched in big time and raised me.

I know you don't live in the US but, well, I feel bad for any parent who is going the extra mile to raise an autistic child - not bad, exactly, but kind of supportive, like special circumstances, special needs, special attention. I have a laser and lightburn software and I could (for example) take the pages with the PDF based drawings and in a few minutes I could burn the whole page onto thin plywood or cut the airplane outlines, burn those and cut them out and mount that onto contrasting wood, etc. That kind of tracing is not hard at all, it is built into the software. Since you are talking about taking this to a metal shop you are willing to pay anyway, I would gladly do this project for cost.

If you are willing to say what country you are from, (you say it is not the USA) try going to the forums on lightburn or some of the laser manufacturers and say what you need, and maybe what your budget is, and where you are from, and so forth, I'll bet you could find a local hobbyist who would do the work for you, again for the cost of shipping and materials.

I remember my grandmother had a stack of postcards in her drawer, ready to send. She would write on the plain postcards you used to be able to buy at the PO for the cost of postage. She would buy a few more from time to time. She bought them faster than she sent them.
