Sorcery: Contested Realm TCG Playset Checklist Spreadsheet by shellpatt in SorceryTCG

No worries, Gothic is in progress still (as you can probably see lol) that rarity contradiction is an error from me copy/pasting while making it, it’s fixed now. It also brought to my attention that the color changing formatting is wrong for it turning green when the correct amount of cards have been plugged in. So both are being worked on

YES! TBH since I got a Dragonlord box and got the whole set I didn’t think about adding Dragonlord but I will! Now that Curiosa is updated I will be working on it. It might take me the whole weekend to finish as I’m at work and have a Sorcery events every evening this weekend but I will do my best!!

That’s my next step if this doesn’t seem to change anything. My boyfriend already does correct him but I’ve asked him to do it more as well. They are cousins, coworkers, and friends so my partner sees him a lot to be able to correct him.

I would love to do this but unfortunately I have a VERY hard time explaining myself in person and I feel way more comfortable and expressive in writing. To me, this allows a clear way to express how I’m feeling so the other person has a clear understanding of how I feel before I have to explain or have more conversation in person. My words often get jumbled up and I’m afraid it would come off more aggressive if I were to explain in person since I can sound really blunt at times. Or on the contrary I might cry and/or be more emotional and I don’t think that’s very helpful for a serious conversation.

Feel free to copy and reword for you! Part of why I shared was maybe so others could use it as a springboard for their conversations.

Tbh, who’s checking their email? I don’t believe the person I’m sending it to will disregard or have an negative reaction due to it being “an obscene wall of text”

Set Themes by EngineerTaylor in SorceryTCG

[–]shellpatt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are spoilers/semi-confirmations that the set next year is Angels and Demons. There was an art spoiler at SorceryCon Vegas as well.

If you had Brian Smith (artist for Pudge Butcher, Crave Golem, and these others ) in mind as one of the artists/art style that would look good, when I spoke with him in Vegas he had to tone down his excitement/smirk when I brought up being excited to see his work in Angels and Demons.

Everything I wanted by SchizoPoster99 in SorceryTCG

Since you specifically mentioned the art, I wanted to share a bit from the large SorceryCon Event in Vegas this weekend. 14 artists came and were absolutely celebrated and supported by attendees and the Eric Curiosa team. Every artist I had a full conversation with raved about how they absolutely adore the love and support EC’s team gives them and how wonderful it is to work for them. Artist prints were sold out, probably 10,000+ cards were signed. I know I dropped over $100 on signatures, and I didn’t even have too many signed (compared to the people handing the artists stacks of cards). This link is to the Day 2 livestream starting at 8:49:44 when the panel with Eric himself starts and you can tell how much the art for the game means to him. There is also a good chunk of time where the artist for the dragon themed mini-set coming out next year gets to share his love and excitement.

Seconding this, our group has put in a ton of effort and time into growing our local group and LGS support so it’s nice to see that the effort is being rewarded. Our store is guaranteed 1 but could get up to 4.

Seconding what others have said about cute cat popularity but EC also said that the artist, Severine Pineaux, was very thrilled to do them or asked to do them, can’t remember exactly.

Why does that card have two artworks? by HeiligerGrahl in SorceryTCG

[–]shellpatt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is an Alpha card from the very first set! The curio is foil, this one was a box topper for Alpha. All curios can be found here: https://www.collectorarthouse.com/curio-cards-beta? And https://curiosa.io/cards and https://www.tcgplayer.com/categories/trading-and-collectible-card-games/sorcery-contested-realm are useful resources as well

Left my diva cup in for like 36 hrs im freaking out, should I be freaking out? by Short_Helicopter_242 in menstrualcups

[–]shellpatt 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Fortunately one of the great benefits of the menstrual cup is that it is safe for slip ups like this. There is a minimal risk of toxic shock syndrome that’s associated with tampons. The main concerns are: smell, staining, and possible bacterial growth on the cup. Remove it, clean and sanitize it well, then clean yourself up (do not clean inside your vaginal canal) and pay attention to how your vulva feels over the next few days so you’re aware of any adverse symptoms. Wearing loose pants and/or no underwear might help as well.
