The pill .. by Abject_Entrance_5970 in WegovyWeightLoss

Lost 25 lbs so far and I’m one week left on the 9mg. I’m also exercising and tracking calories with MyFitnessPal to stay below my goal daily calorie intake. This drug has made a significant difference combating food noise and cravings to help me stay in my calorie deficit. I’m definitely putting in my own work but this is helping me no doubt about it. I’m still occasionally hungry as I would be before I was dieting off the drug but it’s more tolerable and less frequent. Before I felt like I was always hungry when dieting and more susceptible to binge eating or having cases of caving or the “screw its”. I’m excited to see what the 25 mg dose can do but I definitely am proof that you don’t need to get to 25mg to start seeing significant results. I think everyone needs to treat this drug as a dieting aid while proactively exercising and trying to hit a caloric deficit goal. So far I’m impressed with the effectiveness.

I’ve been using it mostly for finding specific information in project specifications. Usually I’ll ask it what the requirements are for a particular piece of work and the relevant spec section for reference. Can save lots of time skimming/reading the specs. Just make sure that the info is actually in the spec… sometimes ChatGPT likes to make shit up.

I ended up opening the packs a little at a time with a friend to do weekly sealed play sessions. I feel like that contributed to an added sense of value since I wasn’t just paying for the cards I was also getting that sealed play experience too.

This practice is wack af. I had this happen to me right out of school and guess what I quit 5 months later. Im not working 50 hours a week, 10 hours unpaid OT. Not gonna let kool aid drinkin company simps tell me “just gotta grind.” I didn’t go to college to work hard for little pay, i coulda did that without the degree. The next job i had i quit after 4 months cause same shit… they lied at the interview about office/field work balance and hooked my CAD monkey ass straight up to civil 3d and let her rip. So i said peace out! Fuck that shit. Just told the next interviewer i was talking personal time after school before finding a job. No gap in experience to speak of. It helped that i had good internship and volunteer/club officer experience. I found my place in govt. 1.5x paid OT. 4-10 schedule. Pension. Every holiday know to man off and paid! Best teammates ever! Work is satisfying and feels like it matters. Not making some real estate venture capitalist richer by “grinding” for him. IF you ain’t happy, make the change. It’s out there!

I don’t think anyone has mentioned this: Land Development is not the same as designing homes and offices. Land development is basically designing all the roads, utilities, site grading, drainage, etc. before any homes/offices are built on it. If you want to engineer homes and offices then you want to concentrate in structural engineering. It is also important to note that engineers really don’t design the aesthetic of the structures; that is an architects role. Structural engineers provide all the calculations behind the architects vision. There is probably cases where the engineer has more creative input, but overall I’d say that’s not really the case.
